MISSIONS — THE GREAT COMMISSIONUnderstanding the Great Commission
Today’s Scripture · Matthew 28:18–20 (KJV)
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost... and, lo, I am with you alway.”Read the full passage in your Bible.
Reflect
Jesus entrusted the Great Commission to His followers and promised His presence as they go. Mission begins when we stop treating His invitation as somebody else’s assignment. We can carry His teaching into the places and relationships already before us.
A step for today
Name one person or place where you can represent Christ with care this week.
Let us pray
Father, thank You for the Great Commission. Help me see it as my personal duty, and give me a willing heart to go, teach, and make disciples, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
