About • Our Story

A journey of discernment, preparation, and purpose.

The story of LCGM is not a claim of arrival. It is a testimony of how a vision was prayerfully understood over time—and how a praying community became the foundation for a wider mission.

How we tell the story

Christ at the centre.
Scripture as the measure.

LCGM shares its beginnings with reverence and humility. Personal experiences are not presented as conclusive proof of calling; they form part of a wider process of biblical discernment, prayer, counsel, service, character formation, and the fruit God produces through people.

What began as a private experience in 2019 unfolded gradually into YPN in 2022, a growing conviction in 2025, focused preparation in 2026, and the public inauguration scheduled for Sunday, 7 March 2027 at 2:00 p.m.

012019

The initial encounter

A call to make a way

In January 2019, while in Jos, Nigeria, Pastor Moses Abiona experienced a vivid dream in which he found himself in a dense forest with no visible path forward or backward. A man clothed in white appeared and handed him a large double-edged cutlass with the instruction, ‘Path the way.’ Pastor Moses does not claim to know the identity of the figure; rather, he received the experience as the beginning of a personal journey of prayer and discernment.

The hidden years

Prayer, service and preparation

The meaning of that experience did not unfold immediately. The years that followed became a season of waiting, learning, serving and allowing God to shape the messenger before clarifying the mandate. There was no attempt to force a public ministry into existence; the emphasis remained on faithfulness, spiritual formation and patient discernment.

032022

A praying community

The birth of YPN

The Youths Prayer Network began as a small prayer gathering and gradually grew into a fellowship marked by prayer, biblical teaching, spiritual renewal, leadership development and service. YPN was not established as a church. It became a living community through which people were strengthened, relationships were formed and the foundations for a wider expression of ministry began to emerge.

042025—2026

The mandate takes shape

From conviction to formation

By April 2025, a stronger conviction had developed that a local church expression should emerge from the life and fruit of YPN. This conviction was not built on one dream, sermon, conversation or person’s words. It continued to be weighed through Scripture, prayer, counsel, ministry experience and humility. During 2026, the vision gained greater clarity through leadership formation, relationships and careful reflection—and Liberation Center Global Mission began taking visible shape.

The public beginning

Preparing to launch

LCGM is preparing for its inauguration on Sunday, 7 March 2027 at 2:00 p.m., aligned with the fifth anniversary of YPN. The launch is not viewed as the end of preparation, but as the beginning of a long obedience: proclaiming Christ, leading people into true freedom, building mature disciples and equipping them to fulfil their God-given purpose in every sphere of life.

Scriptures that shaped the journey

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword…”Hebrews 4:12
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth… I will even make a way in the wilderness.”Isaiah 43:19
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”John 8:36

The story continues

From freedom to purpose.
From people to nations.

LCGM’s story will ultimately be written through lives transformed by Christ, disciples formed in truth, leaders equipped to serve, and communities touched by the liberating love of God.
